ProTenders ingests new tenders daily from eTenders.gov.za, every provincial and municipal procurement portal we can source from, and the Government Tender Bulletin. Most listings are live within 24 hours of being gazetted, usually faster than the official Bulletin's Friday-PDF cycle.

Do I need a CSD number to use ProTenders?

No. You can browse, save, and set alerts on ProTenders without any government registration. You will need a Central Supplier Database (CSD) number to actually submit a bid, that is a free registration at csd.treasury.gov.za and applies to every supplier doing business with the South African government, regardless of which tender platform surfaced the opportunity.
