Makhulukhulu Protection is a strong player in the security and personal safety space, with about R14 million in total revenue, mostly coming from government contracts. They have a very strong relationship with the KZN: Agriculture & Rural Development department, which accounts for the vast majority of their government work, with about R13.9 million in spend. They also do some work with the KZN: Public Works department, although this is a much smaller portion of their business, at about R144,000. If I were you, I'd keep a close eye on their activity in the KZN province, as they seem to have a favour with the local government organisations, particularly in the security and personal safety programme.
